Nehemiah's call.

Responsive Nehemiah- He feels convinced to do something. A desire to do something from his time of prayer and in response to the news he has received—he feels called to do something. A deep persuasion, a calling to respond in a specific way is growing in his heart. He feels a sense of responsibility growing in his heart. Look at his prayer in the end. “Give me success today and make the emperor merciful to me.” He so identifies with the issue, that he feels like he wants to respond in a specific way. Such a heart is given by the Lord. And those who accomplish something significant are those who God brings to a place where life is not the same, as long as the status quo continues. For me, I know, that when I learned that many of the believers especially campus students are living an insecure life- in spite of the promises given to them by God in his word, Life could not continue being the same, God helped me to take personal responsibility—so identified with the issue, that such a prayer would proceed from my mouth… Oh God, give me success today in the sight of my partners… in the sight of my parents--- in the sight of my friends, and before the panel of interviewers at LMK.  When God calls you, then you realize you are working in a context that requires peoples favor. Vs 11.
